NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has completed the awarding stage for their procurement project titled "Acute Financial Inclusion Services," which falls under the category of Health and Social Work Services. The contracts were signed on 7th April 2025, with GEMAP Scotland Ltd and Money Matters Money Advice Centre awarded as active suppliers. The procurement aimed to support patients by maximising income and reducing expenditure to alleviate money worries among patients, carers, and NHS GGC staff. This tender offers significant opportunities for growth for businesses working in financial inclusion and advice services, particularly those skilled in rapid response and community integration.
This aligns with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde's requirements, which emphasise timely and effective financial support to vulnerable populations. Businesses that are ideally suited to compete include those offering innovative financial solutions, comprehensive support services, and the ability to engage and partner with local community resources. With a high demand for acute financial services, companies in this sector can expand their client base and enhance their service offerings, thus contributing to improving health outcomes by tackling financial distress among healthcare clients.
