Summary, notice description and lot information
NHS England - East of England is overseeing a public procurement process for the provision of Cervical Screening and Opportunistic Section 7a Immunisations in sexual health services across the East of England region. This Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice comes under the Health Care Services Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023. The contract, with an estimated lifetime value of £236,120, is intended for the "Provide Community Interest Company" and is expected to commence on 20th August 2025, ending on 31st March 2028, with the possibility of a two-year extension.
The procurement process, conducted through an open procedure, has reached the award stage, with key dates such as the standstill period for representations ending on 8th August 2025. This service falls under the gyneacologic or obstetric services category and aims to enhance cervical screening and immunisation accessibility in the East of England. This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in health services, particularly those experienced in sexual health provisions.
Winning the contract could lead to long-term collaboration with NHS England, providing visibility and standing within the healthcare industry. Businesses that are well-suited to compete are those with a solid track record in community health services, innovative healthcare solutions, and an ability to integrate services that reduce health inequalities. With a focus on improving access and offering choice, particularly in non-GP settings, organisations that can demonstrate proficiency in delivering social value and addressing high-risk and hard-to-reach populations will have a competitive advantage in this tendering process.
