This tender offers significant opportunities for growth to businesses in the healthcare sector, particularly those specialising in cervical screening and immunisation services within sexual health settings.
The contract targets improving access to these services for high-risk groups and those who may face barriers in accessing GP services, thereby fostering healthcare accessibility and reducing health inequalities. Providers such as Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Brook Young People, Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust, and Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust RYX have been named as preferred suppliers. The requirements are likely to be well-suited for large-scale healthcare providers with expertise in integrated, collaborative, and sustainable service delivery.
