NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (referred to as the Commissioner) invites competitive offers for the provision of a Learning Disability Respite Service for People aged 18+ with a learning disability, who are under the duty of care of NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and are registered with a GP within Norfolk & Waveney.<br/><br/>The successful Provider will be responsible for delivering a five-bed residential respite service with nursing care for adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.<br/><br/>The service will be provided 24 hours per day, seven days a week including days, evenings and weekends, and will be provided over a full 52 weeks per year, as defined and detailed in the Essential Standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Except for closure for staff training (4 days per year) and Christmas closure arrangements to be agreed with the nominated liaison team manager who oversees referrals to the service.<br/><br/>The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for up to an additional 2 years.
