Summary, notice description and lot information
NHS England Midlands is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for the recommissioning of Adult Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services within the Leicestershire police force area. This engagement relates to a Prior Information Notice (PIN) seeking to gauge provider interest for future commissioning efforts. Classified under miscellaneous health services, the initiative aims to deliver integrated services adhering to national standards and local needs.
The procurement stage is scheduled to proceed after a market questionnaire deadline at 5 pm on Friday, 2 January 2026, with NHS Arden and GEM Commissioning Support Unit managing the engagement on behalf of the Commissioner. More details may be forthcoming from NHS England after this initial market testing phase. This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in adult health services, particularly those with expertise in providing high-quality care solutions for victims of sexual assault.
Organisations with capabilities in the health sector and a local presence near Leicestershire can benefit by aligning their offerings with the strategic commissioning intentions of NHS England. The potential for a competitive procurement method paves the way for increased competition, encouraging service providers to innovate and improve their service standards. Interested parties can express their interest by submitting a market questionnaire, fostering partnerships and growth opportunities within the healthcare industry.
