This contract falls under the industry category of services, specifically focusing on an 18-25 mental health transition service in Doncaster. The procurement process is managed as a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) and is currently in the award stage, with the associated contract yet to be formally awarded.
Key dates include the commencement of the standstill period following the notice publication, requiring representations by 11 June 2025. The contract, valued at £116,020, will operate from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, utilising a limited procurement method without prior competition. This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in healthcare services, particularly those experienced in rehabilitation or youth mental health support.
Companies with capabilities in providing innovative care solutions and managing collaborations with community organisations stand to benefit from this contract. Given the emphasis on integration, collaboration, service sustainability, and social value, suppliers with a strong presence in the region and an ability to engage with local health and social care networks can leverage this opportunity for growth. The tender aligns with broader investment efforts across health, social care, and voluntary sector funding, offering a platform for long-term service development and expansion.
