Summary, notice description and lot information
The procurement process initiated by the North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust (NSCHT) involves a market engagement for future procurement related to Mental Health Complex Care Rehabilitation and the Transforming Care Programme for Learning Disabilities and Autism. This stage is classified under 'planning' and is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) market engagement notice, where NSCHT intends to communicate a future procurement strategy, without this being a formal procurement exercise yet. The engagement targets the healthcare services category, with a focus on initiatives located within Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
The process invites expressions of interest, with a deadline set for 12:00 midday, 18th September 2025. Following this, virtual engagement events are scheduled to begin the week of 22nd September 2025. Potential future contracts will be informed by these events in compliance with the Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023, aiming for a January 2026 commencement date.
This opportunity presents significant growth potential for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly those experienced in mental health and disability services. Companies that provide comprehensive psychiatric care, community health, and rehabilitation services are well-suited to participate. The engagement invites qualified providers to express interest, potentially leading to involvement in a future procurement process with an annual budget estimation of approximately £42,351,000.
This initiative seeks to enhance local healthcare services and community capacity in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, offering substantial business avenues for service providers adept at handling complex care needs and fostering strong operational relationships within the healthcare community.
