Summary, notice description and lot information
The London Borough of Enfield has recently awarded contracts for the 'Prevention and Early Intervention Services' under the CPV category of Health and social work services. This procurement process, conducted via the restricted procedure, included multiple lots with services aimed to support the local residents of Enfield to access timely information and assistance. Key industry categories involved range from services supporting unpaid carers to digital inclusion and home recovery support.
The contracts, with an initial term of three years and possibilities for extensions up to nine years, were formally signed on 24th April 2025. With a strong emphasis on quality and price, this procurement process was in the 'award' stage as of 3rd July 2025, marking the completion of the selective process led by the London Borough of Enfield. The awarded contracts can spur growth for businesses specialising in health and social services, particularly those adept in digital inclusion, assistive technology, and community-based support services.
The opportunities within these lots are excellent for SMEs with a focus on advocacy, volunteer support groups, and innovative approaches to community health services. Businesses with a keen interest in local engagement and partnership with community organisations, such as Enfield Citizens Advice Bureaux and Age UK Enfield, may find these alliances beneficial. This contract structure, allowing for subcontracting aspects of service delivery, can open doors to a range of specialist providers, fostering community growth and sustainable service provision.

Any future procurement opportunity could be published before the end of the year (2024). However, this timeframe is indicative only and the Council reserves the right to reschedule any forthcoming publication at any time.
