Summary, notice description and lot information
The Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is planning a contract expansion for its Supported Tenancies Scheme in the health services industry category. This scheme, focusing on residential health facilities and rehabilitation services, is set to provide additional housing in Brighton and Hove, UK, as identified under the region code UKJ2. The procurement process is at the planning stage, following the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, with a future notice date anticipated on 1st July 2025.
The contract aims to establish 5-10 new properties to support adult rehabilitation services, with the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust serving as the primary buyer. The 12-month contract, valued at £199,838, is set to be awarded to BHT, the sole supplier showing interest. This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for entities associated with health services and social housing.
Particularly, businesses specialising in residential mental health facilities, rehabilitation services, and intensive housing management could greatly benefit from involvement in this scheme. Such a venture allows providers to demonstrate innovative solutions in healthcare accommodation and foster cooperative practices within Brighton and Hove's community-focused health initiatives.
Additionally, businesses involved can strengthen their position in the healthcare sector, potentially setting a precedent for future collaborative models within the NHS framework.
