Why the interview matters
Your questionnaire says what you will do. The interview shows CIW you can.
They want your words
Reciting a policy is not enough. CIW wants to hear how you will lead the service as its responsible individual.
Your answers, tested
CIW uses your suitability questionnaire to pick the areas it wants to discuss further at interview.
Welsh language counts
CIW asks how you will promote Welsh language and culture, so have a real answer ready.
“How will you oversee the management of the service, including when the manager is away?”
“I will keep in regular contact with the manager.”
The follow-up questions you invite
