C17790 - Supported Living Pseudo Framework

West Sussex County Council's Supported Living Framework, listed on its Atamis portal as C17790 Supported Living Pseudo Framework, buys care and support that helps people with eligible social care needs live as independently as possible. It covers personal support for young people aged 16 and over and adults, and is designed to support the move from children's to adult services. The framework began on 1 August 2021 under the Light Touch Regime and is continually open: new providers can apply to join at any time during its term.

The council's July 2025 extension report describes four lots: Lot 1 outreach care in the community, Lot 1a live-in care in the community, Lot 2 accommodation based supported living, and Lot 3 intensive and specialist care. The report records that contracted providers grew from 130 in August 2021 to 214 by March 2025, supporting about 1,400 people, with a 2025/26 budget of about £75 million. The council approved a two year extension from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2027, with an option to extend by two months, and plans a full recommissioning before it ends.
