Warwickshire County Council has commissioned various providers to deliver day opportunity services to Warwickshire residents aged 65 and over without a diagnosis of dementia and residents aged 18 and over with a diagnosis of dementia. The procurement process followed an open procedure and covered lots 1 to 4 for countywide frameworks, and lots 5 to 14 for block contracts within specific boroughs and districts such as North Warwickshire, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Rugby, Warwick, and Stratford on Avon. The procurement, valued at approximately £1,190,000 per contract, started on 1st April 2025 and will last for three years, with possible extensions of up to 24 additional months, subject to performance and funding availability.
The procurement stage for this process is now complete, with several contractors awarded contracts starting from March 2025.
