Integrated Domestic Abuse Service at Sefton Council

The public procurement process undertaken by Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council for their Integrated Domestic Abuse Service (IDAS) is now complete. This three-year service, potentially extendable for two additional twelve-month periods, aims to provide comprehensive support to victims and families of domestic abuse across regions such as Merseyside, and includes therapeutic counselling as stipulated in the Domestic & Sexual Abuse Strategy 2023-2028. Legally grounded in the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, Sefton Council through an open procedure has contracted SEFTON WOMEN'S & CHILDREN'S AID to deliver services starting from September 2025, with an impressive investment of £2.8 million.
