Summary, notice description and lot information
North Ayrshire Council has completed the procurement process for a flexible framework agreement aimed at providing Early Learning and Childcare services within the region, starting from 1st August 2025. With the current framework set to expire on 31st July 2025, this new agreement will be active for five years, concluding on 31st July 2030. The procurement falls under the services category and was conducted using the open procedure method, with the framework allowing for applications at any given time.
However, to ensure participation from the start date, providers had to submit their applications by 8th May 2025, with a provision for applications received post-deadline to be reviewed from August 2025 onward. Supporting sessions were conducted to assist potential providers at Marress House Early Years Centre in Irvine, and applications required adherence to national standards as well as framework terms and conditions. This framework agreement presents an excellent business growth opportunity, particularly for organisations involved in child daycare and early learning services, including private, voluntary, and third sector settings.
The division into two lots, one for general Early Learning and Childcare Services and another for Childminding Services, ensures a wide range of providers, including SMEs, can access these opportunities. Organisations capable of delivering high-quality childcare can benefit from this long-term engagement, given that it promises a consistent flow of service demands over the five-year period in North Ayrshire. Businesses equipped with the essential qualifications and complying with the stipulated requirements of the framework agreement will find this tender particularly advantageous.
