In an effort to engage and inspire individuals to consider careers within the NHS, NHS England has completed a procurement process for a "NHS Health Careers event support" service. AIP Exhibitions Ltd has been awarded the contract to build and manage exhibition stands at various events across the UK. The contract, valued at £25,000, commenced on 10th July 2025 and will run until the end of June 2026.
This open competition process, below the official financial threshold, was initiated to enhance visibility and attract visitors to NHS career events, emphasising the diverse opportunities within the health sector. This contract represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in event management and exhibit stand construction, particularly those accustomed to large-scale projects. This is a contract for a stand builder to help us install and deconstruct a stand at a series of events across the country. The stand is important as it attracts visitors and represents the NHS.
The term of the agreement will be 12 months with an option to extend the contract for a further 12 months to 30 July 2027 subject to funding, commissioner discretion and satisfactory contract performance. The approved budged is up to PS27,000 (excluding VAT).
