An MHTR is a community order, which is a sentence that a court can pass to someone if they have mental health needs and have committed a lesser criminal offence. Primary Mental Health Treatment Requirement is a function of Integrated Non-Custodial Services (IN-CS).
The procurement is divided into 3 lots within the South West as follows:- Lot 1: Devon and Torbay Lot 2: Plymouth Lot 3: Cornwall The contracts will be for a term of 7 years and services are planned to commence from 1st April 2025. The contracts could be subject to nationally mandated directives or service alterations with associated funding during the term of the contract. TUPE is likely to apply to this procurement.
Following an unsuccessful tender for Lot 1, the lot was not awarded via this competitive process.
Devon Partnership NHS Trust is appointing a Provider to deliver Primary Mental Health Treatment Requirements services across Plymouth area (Lot 2). This notice is an intention to award a contract under the competitive process. This is a 7 year commencing 1st April 2025 and the approximate total value of the contract is PS508,156. This is a new service which DPT have been commissioned to provide and have chosen to appoint a provider via a competitive process. The provider is an existing supplier to the Trust.
Following an unsuccessful tender for Lot 3, the lot was not awarded via this competitive process.
