Summary, notice description and lot information
The Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Independent Sector (IS) provider for the provision of insourced neurology outpatient services in Hull, United Kingdom. This tender falls under the category of medical specialist services and involves a procurement process governed by the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The total estimated contract value is £750,000 for the period from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026, with an option to extend for a further three months.
The tender will undergo an open procurement procedure, and submissions are due by 20th December 2024, with the award decision expected by 23rd December 2024. This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare, specifically those with expertise in neurology. Organisations that can supply qualified and experienced consultant neurologists, as well as healthcare assistants, will be ideally suited to compete.
By supporting additional clinic sessions focused on general neurology and epilepsy, the successful bidder could contribute to a targeted backlog clearance programme. The ability to adapt to potentially expanding service requirements, including weekday clinics, may further enhance business prospects in this field. The open procurement method provides fair competition, allowing well-suited providers to engage effectively and potentially secure a valuable partnership.
