The current stage of the procurement is the award phase, dated 17th June 2025, with representations from providers due by 30th June 2025.
The procurement method adhered to the Provider Selection Regime as per the Health Care Services Regulations 2023, opting for a direct award without prior publication of a call for competition. The contract period is set from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026, valued at £109,534. This tender presents a substantial opportunity for businesses within the healthcare sector, specifically those specialising in autism spectrum disorder services, to enter or expand within the Shropshire area.
The existing partnership with A4U, a charity familiar with the local community's needs, highlights potential areas for collaboration or competitive bids from similar organisations. With a focus on delivering a high standard of service, businesses with expertise in health service provision, particularly those adept in supporting adults with autism, are well-placed to meet the expectations set forth by the NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care Board.
