The Shared Lives Service is tailored to meet the needs of the adult being placed with the host and will aim to support with developing independence.
The role of the Shared Lives Service is to support and enable the Shared Lives Carers to provide high quality care and support to the adult placed with them. The Provider of the Shared Lives Service will support the Shared Lives Carer host and their family throughout the placement and will ensure that they provide the level of care and support that has been agreed and supporting individuals towards identified outcomes as part of their care and support planning.
