The NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board (NHS BSW ICB) has published an intention to award notice for the Special Allocations Service (SAS), subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This procurement targets the provision of general-practitioner services by Kingswood Medical Group, primarily in the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire regions. Key dates include the decision approval on 8th April 2025 and the standstill period allowing representations until 3rd June 2025.
The procurement stage is currently at award, and the contract commencement date is set for 8th April 2025, lasting until 31st March 2028. The total contract value amounts to £378,726 under a limited procurement method, executed without prior publication, governed by specific regulations excluding the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
