Summary, notice description and lot information
Torbay Council has initiated a procurement process under the title "0-19 Services", focusing on health services within the services procurement category. This contract is situated in Torquay, UK, and is governed by the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, meaning it is not subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The procurement stage is currently in the award phase, with the contract formally awarded on 31 March 2025.
3 million, with an initial term of 5 years and a possible extension of up to 5 additional years. The project underpins the Children and Young People's Plan and involves the implementation of family hubs services within the Torbay area. This procurement presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in health services, particularly those adept in integrating services and collaborating within strategic frameworks aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people.
Although the current contract is awarded via a direct award process to the existing provider, businesses focusing on quality, service sustainability, and reducing health inequalities are encouraged to position themselves for future opportunities in similar service sectors. Organisations providing nurse services and capable of contributing to the Healthy Child Programme, which supports collaborative and integrated delivery, would be particularly well-suited to this environment.
