This Prior Information Notice (PIN) aims to identify providers who could deliver a staff team to support a kinship placement for 8 children and young people in a single property within Moray. The support model includes overnight staffing but does not require a waking night service. The staff will be expected to establish and maintain positive relationships with the children and young people living in the house. They will contribute to maintaining a safe, nurturing and positive environment which always promotes best interests and wellbeing needs of the young people, in line with Getting it Right for Every Child and the principles highlighted in The Promise. The staff team responsibilities are noted below, please note this is not limited to; Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining positive, trusting relationships Household Duties: Cooking, cleaning, and general household management and upkeep Parenting Support: Provide guidance and support for all children to enable them to attend education, and model life skills Transport & Supervision o To and from school o At appointments o For social, leisure and community activities Health Support: Administer prescribed medication as required Communication: Regular updates to social workers.
