The City of Edinburgh Council, acting through the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership (EHSCP), is in the planning stage to tender a contract for an Adult Sight Loss and Visual Impairment Support Service. The procurement process, which falls under the service category, is primarily geared towards providing rehabilitation, mobility services, and eye clinic support for individuals with visual impairments in Edinburgh. The procurement is currently marked as "planned" with a projected tender advertisement in the last quarter of 2025 and an anticipated contract start date in April 2026.
The contract is expected to last until at least April 2031, with potential extensions, contingent on funding.
