Summary, notice description and lot information
NHS Highland has completed the procurement process for the "Alcohol & Drugs Digital Support Service For Adults" under the CPV code 85000000, encompassing health and social work services. This service, aimed at residents across the Highland region, was procured through an open procedure. The contract is active, beginning 2nd July 2025, with an initial term of one year and the potential for extension up to 24 additional months, contingent on Scottish Government funding.
The contracting process, marked as complete, resulted in an award to the supplier, We Are with You, through a competitive tender process, demonstrating fairness and transparency. This procurement aligns with NHS Highland's objectives in partnership with the Highland Alcohol and Drugs Partnership (HADP), underscoring the collaborative effort in addressing health service needs in the region. This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on digital health solutions, particularly those experienced in delivering support services in community health contexts.
Companies within the health and social work sector across the United Kingdom, especially those with capabilities in digital intervention and support, would find this contract suitable to bid for. SMEs and larger entities capable of demonstrating compliance with stringent health service delivery standards and a history of community-focused solutions could leverage this opportunity for growth and broaden their engagement in public health initiatives. The delivery of digital support services represents a growing segment within the healthcare industry, aligning with national priorities to enhance digital inclusivity and access to health resources.
NHS Highland is working in partnership with and on behalf of the Highland Alcohol and Drugs Partnership (HADP) has agreed to conduct an open procurement exercise to commission Alcohol and Drugs Digital Support Service for adults. This will ensure that future services are put in place in a fair, competitive and transparent manner. It is highlighted that the HADP receives funding from the Scottish Government for this contract. Funding will therefore be subject to the continuing availability of funding from Scottish Government. Any change in the Scottish Government funding will be reflected in an amendment to the contract by means of a Variation to Contract or possible premature termination. Any extensions to the contract will be dependent on the continuation of Scottish Government funding at current levels. Up to further 24 months extensions to the contract may be made at the sole discretion of both NHS Highland and HADP. Additional information: The Contract is for One year with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months
