Care and management of adult patients with Gender Dysphoria / Gender Incongruence in Primary Care

The NHS Derby & Derbyshire Integrated Care Board is moving forward with the procurement process for a contract aimed at the care and management of adult patients with Gender Dysphoria/Gender Incongruence in Primary Care. The contract is structured as a service provision under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The procurement is intended for Newhall Surgery, located in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, with services set to commence on 1st October 2025.

It is a five-year pilot project with a contract valued at £233,975 over the period. This intention to award notice follows the Most Suitable Provider process, and representations by providers must be submitted by 24 September 2025. The procurement process is at the award stage, and decision-making authority lies with the NHS Derby & Derbyshire ICB Primary Care Subgroup.
