All staff involved in the delivery of the services must have the relevant PVG Scheme Membership in terms of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
Provide career long professional learning and development opportunities for all staff. Provide learning and development opportunities for volunteers. For some call of contracts awarded under this Lot there may be a requirement for the provider to hold the relevant qualifications/accreditations to provide the services. This possible requirement is referred to in the Specification.. This PSA will remain open to new applicants for the full term. All staff involved in the delivery of the services must have the relevant PVG Scheme Membership in terms of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
Provide professional assistance, guidance and support in resolving Service Users personal or psychological problems, and promoting good mental wellbeing. This will include one to one counselling. The successful providers appointed to this Lot will when providing services under a call off contract will: - provide professional assistance, guidance and support in resolving Service Users personal or psychological problems, and promoting good mental wellbeing. These will include one to one counselling; - ensure that all personnel involved in the delivery of any services awarded under this Lot have the relevant PVG Scheme Membership in terms of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007; - ensure that the services are provided using counselling personnel who have a recognised qualification in counselling; - ensure that personnel involved in the provision of the services are COSCA/BACP registered where this has been specified by the Council as a requirement for the specific call off contract; - ensure that personnel who are involved in the provision of the services have current knowledge, experience and understanding of providing a counselling service; - be able to demonstrate compliance with data protection legislation

The successful providers appointed to this Lot will when providing services under a call off contract will: - ensure that learners have access to accredited and non-accredited awards that improve life chances, compliment their personal development and can help them progress towards work and/or further study; - ensure that all personnel involved in the delivery of the services have the relevant PVG Scheme Membership in terms of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland)Act 2007; - hold the relevant accreditations to deliver the award; - be able to demonstrate management systems and processes which comply with data protection legislation; - ensure that the services are provided by personnel who hold the recognised qualifications/accreditation required to carry out the activity; - comply with any specific risk assessments and health and safety requirements specified by the Council when awarding contracts under this Lot; - ensure that the services are provided by personnel who have current knowledge, experience and understanding of awards and accreditation delivery. - be able to demonstrate compliance with data protection legislation.
This lot will provide for general educational services that do not fall within the specification of the other Lots. The successful providers appointed to this Lot will when providing services under a call off contract will: - ensure that all personnel involved in the delivery of the services have the relevant PVG Scheme Membership in terms of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007; - be able to demonstrate management systems and processes which comply with data protection legislation; - ensure that personnel involved in providing the services hold the recognised qualifications/accreditation required to carry out the activity; - Comply with any risk assessments and health and safety requirements specified by the Council when awarding contracts under this Lot; - provide the services using personnel who have current knowledge, experience and understanding of the activity. - be able to demonstrate compliance with data protection legislation.

All staff involved in the delivery of the services must have the relevant PVG Scheme Membership in terms of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
