The Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire is engaging in a public procurement process focusing on the provision of an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) within the Occupational and Health and Wellbeing department of Derbyshire Constabulary. Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) are employee benefit programmes that offer employees a safe space to discuss any of their personal or professional challenges that may negatively impact their work performance and mental health.
EAPs provide a free, independent, and confidential service for employees and their immediate families that includes, short-term counselling, legal advice, and financial guidance. Derbyshire Constabulary are now assessing available options so that a business case can be created to move the procurement forwards. To inform the business case, we are reaching out with this Request for Information [RFI] to the market to carry out a full review of existing EAP providers.
If the business case is approved, a compliant procurement route will be taken in line with the Procurement Act 2023.
