Framework Agreement for The Provision of Management, Collection, Slaughter, Salvage and Disposal of Farmed Livestock for TB Control Purposes ("Reactor Removal")

The Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has initiated a public procurement process for a Framework Agreement that covers the provision of management, collection, slaughter, salvage, and disposal of farmed livestock for TB control purposes in England, Scotland, and Wales. The process includes three specific lots: Lot 1 for England and Wales, Lot 2 for Scotland, and Lot 3 for all regions in Great Britain. The procurement stage is in the "Award" phase as of 26 March 2025.

Defra anticipates APHA will primarily make the awards under this agreement. The agreement is set to be re-tendered in 2028, and the submission terms do not allow for variant bids, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
