Summary, notice description and lot information
The NHS Hampshire, Southampton, and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board, along with multiple local councils, is seeking tenders for a framework aimed at providing complex domiciliary care services for children and young people. This procurement falls under the health services category and seeks to involve providers capable of offering necessary care across several regions, including the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Southampton, and Hampshire. The procurement stage is currently active, with an open invitation to tender.
The deadline for submission has been extended to 20th May 2025, and interested parties are encouraged to attend a Market Engagement Session on 29th April 2025, providing guidance and insight into the submission process. The framework offers a contract value of £30,000,000, and the opportunity to be part of this framework exists until June 2025, with the possibility of two further 12-month extensions. This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses with expertise in health and domiciliary care services, especially those skilled in managing complex needs for younger populations.
Companies with existing capabilities and the flexibility to scale their services would find this framework a beneficial avenue for growth. The open procedure allows new market entrants and experienced providers not yet part of the framework to secure a position and contribute to improving community health outcomes. Engaging in this framework offers a robust platform for increased visibility and potential long-term partnerships with the NHS and regional councils, making it an attractive opportunity for expanding service portfolios and establishing market presence in the health services industry.
NHS Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight ICB, on behalf of a number of Hampshire authorities, wish to receive responses to an Invitation to Tender (ITT,) from suitably qualified and experienced providers with the necessary capacity and capability, (or a demonstrable ability to provide the necessary capacity and capability), to provide domiciliary care provision services, for children and young people with complex needs. This is an opportunity to be added to the framework awarded in July 2022. Remaining contract term is until 30/06/2025 with an option to extend for 2 x 12months. Deadline to respond to the ITT for the Framework is 20th May 2025. If your organisation is interested in this service and is considering bidding for a place on the Framework, we encourage you to attend our Market Engagement Session on Tuesday 29th April 2025 to enable a more thorough understanding of the service and guidance for completing the submission.
