North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service working for and on behalf of NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (the Relevant Authority) who are undertaking a competition to commission Leasowe Alternative Provider Medical Services, including Special Allocation Scheme under an Alternative Provider Medical Services contract [C340164]. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Healthcare Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The contract term is for an initial period of 4 years commencing on 01 April 2026, with an option to extend for a further 3 years, plus the option to extend for an additional 3 years at the discretion of the Relevant Authority and subject to satisfactory contractual and financial performance. The closing date for submission of competition response is by 12 noon on 26 March 2025. Additional information: Site Visit(s) North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is working for and on behalf of Cheshire and Mersey ICB (the Relevant Authority), who are commissioning APMS and SAS Services at Leasowe Medical Practice. The Relevant Authority intends to hold site visit(s) to allow interested organisations to gain a better understanding of the practice location and layout. The site visit(s) will be held on 12 March 2025 at Leasowe Medical Practice, Hudson Road, Wirral CH46 2QQ. Times will be confirmed asap once the Relevant Authority are aware of the number of providers who wish to attend. Please note that attendance is limited to no more than 2 attendees per provider organisation. Please provide the following details for attendees from your organisation wishing to attend the visits . Deadline for registering interest to attend is 5pm Thursday 6th March 2025.
