The Henry approach brings together support for parenting efficacy, family emotional wellbeing and behaviour change with information about nutrition, physical activity, oral health and more. Parents and children supported by Henry become a healthier weight and make statistically significant lifestyle changes which independent clinical trials show are sustained at follow-up.
The provider will offer sessions that support parents to give themselves and their children the best opportunity to develop healthy relationships with food and physical activity. The initial term of the Contract will be 2 years with an option to extend, subject to satisfactory performance outcomes and agreement by the Authority, for two further periods of one year (2+1+1) taking the contract term to a maximum of 4 years.
The proposed Contract will be for an initial period of 2 years to commence on 31st October 2025 to 30th October 2027 (initial term) with an option to extend, subject to satisfactory performance outcomes and agreement by the Authority, for two further periods of one year to 31st March 2029, taking the contract term to a maximum of 4 years.
