Independent Child Trafficking Guardians Service

The Scottish Government has awarded a contract for the provision of the Independent Child Trafficking Guardians Service. The contract, aimed at supporting unaccompanied children and young people who may have been victims of human trafficking, will be implemented by Aberlour Child Care Trust. The initial contract period spans 36 months starting from 1 April 2025 until 31 March 2028, with potential extensions of up to 24 additional months.

This procurement process falls under the 'General public services' and 'Education' categories, with services to be delivered across Scotland (UKM region). It utilised an open tender procedure, with the contract notice published on 31 October 2024 and the award notice on 2 April 2025.
