The procedures will be carried out at the Princess of Wales Hospital in region UKL17.
As of 23rd December 2025, the project is at the contract update stage. The contract commenced with the award to ID Medical Group Limited on 3rd December 2025, with a completion period of 120 days. The procurement used a limited, direct award method, facilitated without prior publication due to its urgent nature as specified by the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025, under CPV code 85110000.
This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses, especially those experienced in providing healthcare services and personnel supply. Companies with vetted, experienced, and policy-familiar staff are well-positioned to contribute effectively.
This initiative not only addresses current healthcare demands but also strengthens the healthcare service provision, offering substantial contracts in both the short and medium term. Such opportunities can facilitate business growth in healthcare service delivery, reinforcing the sector's capacity and credibility.
