South Lanarkshire Council has a requirement for the provision of domestic abuse and refuge services for women, children and young people. Justification for selected award procedure: The award of this contract under the Negotiated Tendering Procedure can be justified under [Standing Order 9.3.1/9.3.2 of the Council's Standing Orders on Contracts] [Regulation 33(1) of The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015] for the following reason:- Standing Order 9.3.1 b The works, services or supplies can be supplied by only one suitable contractor because competition is absent for technical reasons and the absence of competition is not the result of an artificial narrowing down of the parameters of the procurement and Standing Order 10.4a (i) In the opinion of the Executive Director the needs of the individual(s) concerned would be best met by a particular Provider The contract term will be for 1 year from 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 with the option to extend for a further year subject to satisfactory performance, financial standing, and available funding.
