Summary, notice description and lot information
The NHS England London Region has conducted a competitive tender process for the expansion of RSV Pharmacy services, following the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This procurement relates to the healthcare services industry, specifically pharmacy services, and is set in the London region. The process progressed from a tender stage to an award stage, with the contract being officially awarded on 12th September 2025.
The contract will begin in September 2025 and continue until 31 March 2027, with an extension option until 31 March 2029. This open procedure underlines the NHS's commitment to expanding healthcare service provisions efficiently within the set regulatory framework. This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses in the healthcare and pharmacy sectors, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises looking to engage in public contracts.
Companies with a focus on pharmacy services and a presence or interest in the London area would be well-suited to pursue similar future opportunities. The competitive nature of the procurement process ensures that businesses capable of providing high-quality service within regulatory compliance have the potential for expansion and increased visibility in the public sector.
The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 does not apply to this award. NHS London Commercial Hub (acting on behalf of NHS England London Region) conducted a competitive procedure under PSR regulations for the award of the RSV Pharmacy expansion services from a commencement date of September 2025 following conclusion of the standstill period.
