Summary, notice description and lot information
NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board has awarded a contract for an online counselling and support service for children and young people. This contract, valued at approximately £386,600, is targeted for the delivery of mental well-being services to young people aged between 11-18 years and up to 25 years for vulnerable groups. The service will be provided from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026 in the London Boroughs of Haringey and Islington.
The procurement process followed the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) under the Health Care Services Regulations 2023, and the contract was awarded on 13th February 2025 to the incumbent provider, Kooth Digital Health Limited, without a call for competition. This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for firms specialising in digital mental health services, particularly those experienced in providing online psycho-social support and counselling. Suitable businesses would include those offering innovative, secure, and user-friendly digital platforms for mental health, as well as those capable of extensive local community engagement through promotion and interaction within schools and community settings.
Competing businesses should be prepared to demonstrate quality and innovation, value and cost-effectiveness, integration within local systems, and the ability to reduce health inequalities while improving access to care.
