Stock Medication for the Isle of Wight Sexual Health Service

Purchasing and delivery of stock medication service to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust Sexual Health and HIV service located at St Marys Hospital on the Isle of Wight.<br/>It is our intension to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C.<br/>The approximate value of the contract is PS535,104 (including pass through drug costs)<br/>Contract term from 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2031. Extension option of up to 2 x 12 months. Additional information: 'This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. <br/>Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 24/03/2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.' This took into account a set of evaluated criteria to determine:<br/>The providers ability to pursue the particular activity including CQC Status, insurance, licences and registrations, and DBS clearence<br/>Economic and financial standing through account validation and financial checks<br/>Technical and professional ability through evidence of qualifications and training<br/>Appropriateness of service delivery through reviewing existing relevant experience and performance<br/><br/>Additional checks were made and ratified against quality and innovation, value for money, Integration, collaboration and service sustainability, Improving access/reducing health inequalities and social value.
