Strength and Balance Service for West Essex, Mid Essex, Southwest Essex and Southeast Essex

Essex County Council has announced the formal award of the "Strength and Balance Service" contract, which aims to deliver health and social work services across West Essex, Mid Essex, Southwest Essex, and Southeast Essex. This procurement initiative, managed under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) as set out in the Healthcare Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, aims to provide expertise for improving muscular strength and balance, particularly targeting the elderly and frail population to reduce fall risks. The contract has been awarded to North East London NHS Foundation Trust as the supplier, and it spans from 1 June 2025 to 31 July 2031, with a total value of £3,248,159.
