Summary, notice description and lot information
The NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board (ICB) has awarded a contract to Twenty-Five/7 Spectra for the "Universal Family/Care Leavers Programme" under the health and social work services category. The programme aims to support care leavers in England by providing employment opportunities across the NHS. This pilot project is a strategic initiative to address workforce shortages and enhance service delivery, while supporting vulnerable youth in securing meaningful employment.
Services will be delivered across the five boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington, with a full operational go-live date of 1st April 2025. The urgent contract requires the service provider to mobilise the programme fully by the stated deadline. This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in social work services, particularly those experienced in supporting vulnerable youth into employment.
The programme requires a collaborative approach involving local authorities, NHS trusts, and voluntary sector partners, making it an ideal opportunity for businesses with expertise in these areas. Companies with a background in social media marketing, recruitment of vulnerable groups, and those capable of providing ongoing support to care leavers will find this tender particularly advantageous. The contract ensures a substantial initial payment, with further performance-based compensation, promising a lucrative engagement for the selected provider.
The Universal Family Programme requires an urgent contract award to secure funding and operationalise full service delivery by 1st April 2025. The commissioner has identified only one provider who has worked with a number of pathfinder systems to capture the learning. The commissioner believes that this provider has a tried and tested programme ready to meet the funding requirements. The service provider would be able to mobilise the service fully by 1 April 2025 across all 5 NCL Boroughs as per NHSE deadlines and timescales. The service provider will receive payment of 75% upfront on commissioning. The additional 25% of the funding amount will be payment by result dependent.
