Award of Dynamic Purchasing System for Domiciliary Care Services in Powys

Powys County Council has completed the award phase for its Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) focused on domiciliary care services. The procurement, which addresses social protection needs under CPV code 85000000, is meant to operate in the Powys region, specifically in areas classified as North and South Powys, with sub-sections for town, rural, and remote rural locations. The DPS was initiated with the intent to last for an initial period of 10 years, beginning in August 2024, with a possible extension of 5 years, subject to bi-annual reviews.

The restricted procedure was used, aligning with EU Directive 2014/24/EU, and suppliers had to be registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to be eligible.
