The current refresh has been commissioned to ensure that the publication takes account of the most up-to-date scientific evidence and nutritional guidance.The Division wishes to commission the production of nutritionally analysed sample menus for children aged 1 to 5 years (for 2 weeks), which meet the revised nutrient and food and drinks standards for early years that are currently being developed by a technical working group.
The group comprises experts from key agencies including Public Health Scotland, Food Standards Scotland and the NHS.
