Summary, notice description and lot information
Cumberland Council has initiated the "Care and Support in Extra Care Housing Framework" contract, classified under health and social work services (CPV: 85000000). The project is located in the UKD1 region and is currently in the tender update stage. 8 million, commenced with active contracts signed as of 25th July 2024, and is planned for an initial term of four years with potential extensions.
The procurement method employed is an open procedure, allowing for widespread participation. Detailed amendments and updates regarding the framework will be advertised on Cumberland Council's official webpage. This framework presents substantial opportunities for businesses in the health and social services sector.
SMEs and larger corporations equipped to provide flexible, responsive care support stand to benefit by participating in this framework. The council seeks to foster competition and innovation in meeting the care needs of residents in the Cumberland area. Specific criteria focusing 80% on quality and 20% on social value, with no emphasis on price, ensure that capable and socially responsible providers can thrive in delivering the requisite services.
Businesses adept in adapting to diverse care requirements within Extra Care Housing schemes will likely find this framework particularly aligned with their service capabilities.
