Contract for the Provision of Mental Health Support Teams (MHST's)

Hertfordshire County Council has awarded a contract for the provision of Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs). This contract falls under the health services category and is aimed at offering place-based mental health and emotional wellbeing support in schools and colleges. The contract was awarded following the completion of an 8 working day standstill period on 20th February 2025.

It will commence on 1st April 2025, running for three years with an option to extend for an additional 12 months. The estimated lifetime value of the contract is approximately £6,687,500. The previous provider, Mind in West Essex, will continue under this new contract, which was awarded through the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) without the application of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
