To provide additional specialist supported exempt accommodation that will provide the required level of support in designated appropriate accommodation for high support needs individuals. The complex needs move on pathway service, accommodation and support (CNMPS), will deliver 200 units of supported exempt accommodation via a registered provider for single people. All referrals to the accommodation will be through the council's statutory homeless service and will include* People currently living in temporary accommodation who are unable to move on due to high and complex needs and a lack of appropriate move on options. * People who would otherwise be placed into temporary accommodation who have high and complex needs.* Any other single person referred by the Councils Housing & Homelessness Service.This contract is for the delivery of the support service. However, providers will need to bring forward and manage 200 units of accommodation as part of the CNMPS and be delivered by a registered social landlord.Payment under this contract will be for the support element only. No accommodation costs will be paid for under this contract, however, the provider will need to agree rental levels and collect the rent and manage accommodation/accommodation usage. Eligible accommodation costs will be covered by housing benefit and ineligible costs will be covered via a service charge payable by the occupant under a license agreement between the occupant and Registered Social Landlord.The 200 units of Supported Exempt Accommodation must be secured under this contract and support provision in place no later than 18 months from contract commencement.CCC will have 100% nomination rights into the service.
