Summary, notice description and lot information
The Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, located in Worthing, United Kingdom, has awarded a contract under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Regulations 2023 for the West Sussex Discharge, Outreach, and Recovery Support (DORS) service. This procurement process focuses on delivering community-based mental health support to adults, with the primary industry category being health services. The procurement method was a direct award under PSR, and the contract spans from 26th June 2025 to 25th June 2028, with an initial one-year term and an optional one-year extension.
The total contract value, including the extension, amounts to £1,222,404, and the service delivery aims to offer a viable alternative to hospital admissions within the region covered by the Trust. This tender provides significant growth opportunities for businesses within the health services sector, particularly those specialising in community-based mental health support. The contract is ideally suited for providers like small and medium enterprises (SMEs) who can offer innovative solutions that meet the quality, value, and integration criteria set out by the Trust.
Businesses that focus on reducing health inequalities, enhancing access to mental health services, and providing social value would be well-positioned to compete in this space and potentially forge strong partnerships with public healthcare organisations.
