Summary, notice description and lot information
Medway Council has issued a procurement notice for a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) concerning the provision of Supported Living services for adults aged over 18. The procurement is classified under the Health and social work services industry category, and it is specifically targeted at the UKJ41 region encompassing Chatham, United Kingdom. The latest update to this tender was made on 30th September 2025.
The procurement process is currently at the tender update stage, with an original active tender phase having concluded on 2nd December 2022. This initiative is intended to find providers that can deliver specialist care and support services under a restricted procedure method, allowing for selective procurement of services. This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in supported living services, particularly those experienced in working with individuals with various conditions, including learning disabilities, autism, and mental health issues.
Businesses equipped to offer tailored, person-centred support are in demand, with the opportunity to be included in a DPS that segments services into three lots: one for lower needs, one for higher needs, and a specialist support category. The focus on creating a resilient marketplace with quality and appropriately skilled providers offers room for growth and stability for service providers. Companies within the health and social care sectors aiming to expand their service areas could greatly benefit from participating in this procurement process, ensuring a good fit with the goal to enhance service quality and availability in the Medway area.
