EOI: Domiciliary Dental Services across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire

This notice is purely for providers to express an interest in the opportunity to provide for Dental Domiciliary Services across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire (including Bassetlaw). <br/><br/>Domiciliary dental services are concerned with providing and enabling the improvement of oral health of individuals and groups in society who have a physical, sensory, intellectual, mental, or medical factor that limits their ability to access oral health care services appropriate to their needs.<br/><br/>Patients eligible for treatment under these services will have long term and/or progressive medical conditions; mental illness or dementia, causing disorientation and confusion in unfamiliar environments or increasing frailty which means that they are not able to travel to a dental surgery. <br/><br/>Providers are to note, although a premises / dental clinic is not required for patients to access the service, the Commissioner still expects providers to have a fit for purpose dental premises for the purposes of decontamination of dental equipment. Therefore, it will be the responsibility of the new Provider/s to source suitable premises for this to take place. <br/><br/>Please note the deadline for expressing an interest is 5pm on Friday 4th July 2025. Additional information: This is purely an early engagement exercise; any subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when published.<br/><br/>This is a market testing exercise and does not commit the Commissioners to carry out a procurement process. Current services will remain in place during this period in line with existing contracts and service level agreements.<br/><br/>The awarding of this contract will be subject to the HealthCare Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 will not apply to this award.<br/><br/>The Contracting Authority will be using an eTendering system for this market engagement exercise.
