Medical Screening of Childcare Providers

Ofsted seeks views from the market on how medical screening of childcare providers can be delivered more effectively, whilst ensuring that medical recommendations remain sound and evidence based. Ofsted would also like to understand the indicative costs of providing the service. Please refer to the 'Supporting Information on Ofsted's Medical Screening of Childcare Providers' document (attached) for further information and the questions that Ofsted would like suppliers to respond to. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is issued solely for the purpose of conducting supplier pre-market engagement on Ofsted's requirement for medical screening of childcare oroviders. While we strongly advise anyone who has an interest in being considered as a potential supplier to engage with this exercise, participation or non-participation in the market engagement exercise shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the market engagement exercise shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process. Interested parties will not be prejudiced or advantaged by any response (or lack thereof) to this PIN and a response to this PIN, does not guarantee any invitation to participate in any future procurement.
