Summary, notice description and lot information
NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) has awarded a contract titled "GP Locally Commissioned Services Contract - Manor and Park Group Practice" under the Provider Selection Regime. This procurement, specifically for general-practitioner services, falls under the services category and adheres to the Health care Services Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023, bypassing the standard Procurement Act Regulations 2023. The process utilised a limited procurement method, meaning a direct award without prior publication.
The contract, based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, runs from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026. This procurement decision was finalised in July 2024, with the contract being signed on 1st April 2025. This tender presents business growth opportunities primarily for existing healthcare providers capable of fulfilling the GP Framework requirements alongside Locally Commissioned Services (LCS).
The Manor and Park Group Practice has been identified as a suitable provider for these services. Businesses interested in expanding into this niche must meet specific criteria and demonstrate an integrated service approach due to the interlinked nature of the GP Framework and LCS. Opportunities are particularly favourable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) already established in the healthcare services sector within the Sheffield region, focusing on activity-based service delivery models.
This contract Award has been made following direct award process A of the Provider Selection Regime.

These contracts are awarded to an existing group of providers. Although we would not restrict the number of providers who deliver these LCS services provided they meet the contract and specification criteria, the primary reason that these services can only be delivered by this group of providers (GP) is because they are required to hold a contract via the GP Framework and deliver the LCS alongside these services; the LCS is designed to enhance the GP Framework contract and not stand alone, therefore, interdependency between the two services is paramount.

The provider is paid on an activity basis based on local prices. The contract will be from 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2026
