Service Expansion and Structure<br/>To meet increasing demand, the Peer Support Worker team will grow from 1.4 Whole-Time Equivalent (WTE) to:<br/>* 1.0 WTE Senior Peer Support Worker<br/>* 5.0 WTE Peer Support Workers<br/>The team will be fully embedded within the South Yorkshire LDA Keyworker Service, working closely with Senior Keyworkers and Keyworkers, who will allocate cases, provide supervision, and ensure structured intervention plans.<br/>The Role of Peer Support Workers<br/>Peer Support Workers will work alongside keyworkers to provide additional capacity, ensuring that people and families receive the right support at the right time. The PSWs will:<br/>* Support individuals through structured programs of work, based on needs identified by the keyworker.<br/>* Provide emotional and practical support, helping individuals navigate services and build confidence.<br/>* Work one-to-one with people who have complex needs, offering lived experience perspectives.<br/>* Facilitate community engagement, supporting access to local services and activities.<br/>* Help individuals develop goals, recovery plans, and self-advocacy skills.<br/>Maintain records of engagement and contribute to service evaluation and improvement.
